Stadia Keypad
Stadia Keypad

Vistacom's Stadia Keypad serves the majority of meeting applications. This wireless, radio-frequency (RF) keypad consists of a seven-segment LED for single-digit response to multiple-choice questions.

  • Ten keys are numbered 1-10. Additional key markings include "A-E" on keys 1-5, and "Yes" and "No" on keys 1-2. You can also have True/False questions.
  • Seven-segment LED is easy to read in all lighting conditions.
  • Can support meetings of up to 2,000 people.
  • Proprietary radio communication system provides secure, barrier-free operation between keypads and their associated Base Station ensuring no interference with other RF devices.

Worldwide Keypad
Worldwide Keypad

Vistacom's Worldwide Keypad is a smaller, sleeker, and more powerful keypad system then the Stadia Keypad. As the name suggests, the keypad system is acceptable for worldwide use because it operates on the license-free/license-exempt 2.4 GHz frequency.

  • Ten keys are numbered 1-9 and 0. Additional key markings include A-E on keys 1-5. You can also have Yes/No and True/False questions. There are three "soft" keys available for special use designated with the one to three hash marks to provide extra voting functionality.
  • Seven-segment LED is easy to read in all lighting conditions.
  • Can support meetings of up to 3,750 people.
  • Employs frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) technology that permits the Worldwide keypad system to operate reliably in the presence of other RF devices (WLANs, PDAs, phones, etc.) that also use 2.4 GHz frequency.

IQ Keypad
IQ Keypad

Vistacom's IQ Keypad is our high-end product line offering greater functionality then the Standard and Worldwide Keypad systems. The IQ keypad features a large graphics LCD to display multiple lines of text as well as confirm multiple character user input (i.e., ID numbers). What's more, the IQ keypad allows for questions with multiple answer choices (i.e., Choose all that apply) and answer choices that require multiple digits (i.e., greater than 10 answer choices to a question).

  • A total of 21 keys: Ten keys are numbered 1-9 and 0 with two additional keys for added use; Five "soft keys" across the top can be designated for special use (i.e., A-E, + 0 -, etc.); and four dedicated function keys (alert/raised hand (!), clear (C), backspace (<-), and send).
  • LCD display with up to 6 lines of 20 characters in message length per line.
    • This messaging function can be used to display a question with its associated response choices, or deliver contextual feedback to user entries, or report interactive session results.
    • A reserved user entry line displays/echoes user inputs up to 16 characters in length. These entries can be numeric, alphabetic, and symbolic for multi-digit response, name entry, equations, or other complex inputs.
  • Can support meetings of up to 22,500 people.
  • Employs frequency hopping spread spectrum (FHSS) technology that permits the IQ keypad system to operate reliably in the presence of other RF devices (WLANs, PDAs, phones, etc.).

Software

Worldwide Software

Vistacom's Worldwide Software works with both the Stadia and Worldwide Keypad systems. There are three separate modules associated with this software:

  1. General Meeting Support
  2. Learning Support
  3. Elections
General Meeting Support

The General Meeting Support module handles most meeting needs. The main features associated with this software are:

  • Question Types
    • Standard Multiple-Choice
    • Demographic
    • Comparison
    • Rank Order/Prioritization
  • Customization of Question and Results slides by including pictures, videos, Flash animation, and audio files
  • Transitional effects from question to question and within a question
  • Identify correct answer choices to questions
  • Provide mean scores
  • Offer weighted voting
  • Variety of graphical displays to results including histograms and pie charts
  • Report Features include:
    • Report by Individual - Identify the response to a question by each individual
    • Report by Question - Overall results indicating percentage and/or raw number of votes for each answer choice, with bar charts
    • Demographic Report - View results to your questions by sub-groups such as gender, age, profession, location, etc. and glean more substantive information than overall total response
    • X-Y Mapping - Plot an opportunity map from the mean scores to evaluation criteria that you asked during your meeting and conduct a quadrant analysis to identify areas of strength and weakness
Learning Support

The Learning Support module offers many of the same features as the General Meeting Support module. However, the Learning Support Module is more suited for educational needs insofar as the questions have correct answer choices with points assigned to them. This allows you to determine individual and team scoring. Additionally, Reports by Individual will calculate the percent correct (or total score) and a class ranking of that score compared to the rest of the audience.

However, you cannot conduct Rank Order/Prioritization questions nor can you get X-Y Mapping reports with this module.

To enhance your overall learning experience you can break an audience into teams and create a competition with cumulative scoring and an ultimate team winner. This sharpens your audience's focus; creates greater participation; increases team spirit and collaboration; and adds excitement to your meeting. We even have a Jeopardy! game show that allows everyone to participate.

Elections

The Election module is used primarily for conducting... Elections. Among the Question Types, you can still ask Standard, Demographic, and Comparison questions. However, you cannot ask Rank Order/Prioritization questions nor can your questions have a correct answer choice.

However, you can conduct Roll Calls, Motions, and of course, the Elections themselves, including elections for multiple rounds of voting (i.e., a position that has several seats like board members). Furthermore, you can incorporate weighted voting and if you are using a roster of names, you can display each person's vote on the screen.

IQ Software

The IQ Software is specifically designed to incorporate the added features associated with the IQ keypad, namely the ability to provide multi-digit and multiple responses to a question. Additionally, it allows for user login information such as an employee ID number, zip code, age, etc. and then be able to track the results by the login information.
